I was able to book an afternoon slot and then a two-hour window was confirmed a couple of days ahead. The sweep phoned when he was on the way. Quick and efficient service - no mess. We have used Ablewight for years and will continue to do so. Would happily recommend them.

The staff taking the bookings were very professional - none of the usual "leave a message on a mobile" and no-one calls back that I get from so many trades. The day before I was contacted by the company, and on the day by the sweep to agree a specific time, which sadly slipped a little as he was delayed. However he went out of his way to keep me updated and this was appreciated. When he arrived the sweep was quick, clean, professional and courteous. The job was all done in 30 minutes with a few suggestions to help maintain the fireplace. The bill has arrived and is reasonable. So I am very happy, especially when I think back to some of the dodgy characters from this trade I have hired in the past. I would recommend these people.

I rang to organise someone to come and sweep my chimney, having used this firm for several years. The person on the phone was cheerful, helpful and efficient. They gave me a window of time and then nearer the day they reduced that from a four hour to two hour window, which was helpful. The young man who cleaned the chimney was efficient and made no mess and was pleasant to deal with.
All in all a good experience, which I expect from this firm. Thank you and see you next year.
